Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
I don’t promise quick change or immediate solutions. Therapy is a process and a relationship requiring consistency and commitment. In weekly sessions we will work together at your pace. I will invite feedback as to your impressions along the way, because it is important that we are able to talk about your experience in the room as well as outside of it.
Going to therapy doesn’t have to mean that something is wrong. It can mean that you or your relationships are hurting. We all do. It can also mean you are curious and interested in making the most of this time that you’ve got.
Psychotherapy can assist individuals in:
Seeking insight and exploring sense of self
Relationship distress, attachment, and patterns of relating
Anxiety
Social Anxiety
Emotional neglect and counter-dependence
Family conflict, estrangement, and understanding family of origin issues
Grief and loss
Navigating transition, change, and difficult choices
Finding meaning in the every day
Feelings of failure and regret
Stress and burnout
